The BK16 was my first BKT knife and I am enjoying it alot. A couple pics for the thread:

Here is my WIP 16. What do you all think of the white scales? Too much?







Started polishing up the blade, still think I can get it smoother, lot of work with just wet and dry sandpaper! :)
 
Love the white handles! I have wanted some since I saw K9 handler post a pic of some white ones he made. You did a great job on yours.

Nice, that 16 looks well used, given the sharpening near the heel of the edge
 
Got a beautiful set of black micarta handle scales from Oregon Fal'er way back in the day. They were needing to be polished, so I set about to doing that recently. Here is the result. Sure looks pretty.

I guess I should throw mine in here. The handles are made from some Spalted Elm that Chris (KFU) glued up for me and walked me through the shaping / finishing process.

I need to get an FFG version soon, too.
 
I just ordered a 16 and some Micarta scales tonight; I can't wait to use it and post some pics. A few months back I did a trade with someone from the forums for a 16 and really got hosed on the deal. It was supposed to be "new" but the tip was all bent and the scales didn't fit worth a crap. I got rid of it without ever using it, so I am excited to get my hands on this one! I love the 5/32 thickness, which you don't see on a lot of blades.
