Got my hands on me a 16 got some before and afters! Got it and some 710 Sheath and scales for my Birthday!! And I love it with the new scales on it makes it a little beefy for my big ole pawls!!

Just started with 220 and worked up from there. (220, 280, 3something, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000)
Then I used some old micro mesh I had. (2400, 3200, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000)
Then I buffed some of it with the dremel.
At the end I use my leather strop to polish it out. Green then White. I just use the strop like a buffer and buff the whole blade.

It only takes minute or two per grit. Not really bad at all once you get your rhythm.

My new Bk16. Stripped, scale spacers, SS hardwear, vinegar then mustard treatment. I still have to trim the new SS screws but so good so far. First post as well. The hard part is not going out and buying another project now...]

Welcome to the madness. Nice first post. Get those screws taken care of and resubmit the pics.

I see stuff like what Dex is doing, and Hawkhead and I just want to ask if they can do that stuff for me fr a few of my Beckers. I can barely sharpen a knife and usually have difficulty even installing scales with screws.....I'm so not cut out for this forum.

Lol. You can do it man. Just gotta try it. My first few tries weren't so good. It just gets better as you progress. Start simple and go slow.

But I might be able to do some mods for ya if you want.

You guys need to stop this. I love my FPR 16 and just got a 15.
Now I want to spearpoint a FFG 16 and slap some micarta on it. But what do I NEED that for???

Oregon Fa'ler. He's the man! He puts in so much time hand sanding into each set, they are absolute perfection. My crapy iPhone pics do them no justice.

Damn......Nate!! We are gonna have to talk scales in a few weeks. I need some.
