Deep carry / low ride titanium clips for Spyderco - Delica, PM2, Manix, etc. - Run #3

Sorry Casey. I'm a little late in posting this but here they are. I swapped the bronze clip to my CF S90V Yojimbo. The CF pattern matches great with the bronze. The black shorty works great on the Dice. Love the long clip on the Delica too. Great stuff!

Thanks for offering these Casey,
Just sent payment for 1 short and 1 long.
Forgot to add in my PP note that I will take them w/logo if available now.

hey Tom - sorry I hadn't let you know I got it. I'm working on getting orders out this weekend. I'll change yours to a shorty. The black clips will be a bit behind, as they'll go out to the powdercoater on Monday.

Thanks Karl! Got it.

You bet Trust, and thank you.

Casey, does your shorty clip work on the Manix 2 XL?

And does anyone else on this thread by chance have a picture of what would look like? especially in the pocket, standalone is great too. :-)

Thanks!
Dan

Thanks Casey! Yep, that's definitely a Manix 2 XL, looked at way too damn many pics of it lately since i'm looking at getting one lol. :-)
Is that your shorty clip - and if not, would the shorty clip work on it?
Thanks!!

Hey thanks Dan. It's 6AL-4V titanium, machined, and comes with a recessed ti clip. It also comes with a small ti piece to fill the recess for people who prefer to carry it with a lanyard rather than the clip. They are getting etched this week, and I'm hoping to have them ready to go by next weekend. There is a small flaw in the rear lanyard hole due to laser-cutting blow-out (you can see it in the 2nd photo), so I'll be selling them at a slight loss, since I can't sell them as perfect. $38 with the clip and plug. I have about 80 or so.

Casey, very cool.

Those little pry tools are handy... imho you don't pry with a good knife. Just like you COULD hammer with your Glock, but that doesn't mean you should lol.

1.) do you have the specs - length, width, and weight?

2.) the pry/scrape end, how sharp is it? won't cut up the pocket if free floating in there with a lanyard, right?

3.) is that indention by the bottle opener intended to give you a better grip? looks like it would work well...

I have a Schrade keychain pry tool, and it's quite handy, tho I wish it was larger so I can get a better grip on it... and wish it didn't have the darn "wire cutter", only thing it cuts into is my hand when I grip it lol. It's still the one I've always gone back to tho.

Also got a custom titanium one recently (this one), and really wanted to like it, but didn't end up carrying it... pry end was too sharp, esp it's corners, afraid it would cut up my pockets lol. these things are so subjective lol, what works for one person may not for another. :-)

Thanks!
Dan

Thanks Sush. I got back the POC Delica scales from the machinist, and felt like they needed a few changes. Some adjustments were made to the CAD drawings, and I'm hoping to have a set of version 2.0 pretty soon.

Thanks Dan. To answer your questions... 1. I have a little scale for comparing parts, not sure how accurate it is. The pry bar weighed in at 30 grams. A Delica, for comparison, came in at 70. It's just a hair under 4" long, and about 7/8" at it's widest point, near the back. 2. The pry end is not sharp. I'm sure you could cut the tape on a box if you wanted to, but it's not going to cut anything without some effort. 3. Yeah, that was designed for the pointer finger, with the jumping on the top for the thumb. I've heard good things about that Schrade tool - and they're cheap! Tough to beat that.

All the orders that have come in for this latest batch of clips, save the black clips, will be in the mail tomorrow. Thanks everyone.

Casey, I received my order last night and wanted to say Thank You for your prompt communication, and timely services to get your product to me. The clips look great. Especially the anodized fade for my Digi Camo PM2. Looking forward to future purchases of some of your ti scales, and more pocket clips. Thank you again Casey. Have a good day Sir.:)
