Deep carry / low ride titanium clips for Spyderco - Delica, PM2, Manix, etc. - Run #3

I received my clip a few days ago, all I can say is wow. Looks great with my fade into anodization, makes my para 2 disappear in my pocket. Casey is great to work with, I would deal with him any time. I'll try to get pictures up later on.

Hey rsng - yeah, I totally goofed that up. I thought I had covered everyone and shipped all orders out, and a day ago I was going through my shipping notes to double check when I saw I had missed you. Basically your order ticket was stuck behind another one and I overlooked it until yesterday. At that point, the short black clips were gone. So I actually goofed up twice - miscounting the number of black clips I needed, and losing your ticket in my paperwork. No excuses, I just goobered it. Man, I am really sorry about that - you had pre-ordered and I didn't take care of you. That is crappy; I feel awful about it. You should receive the substitute clips in the next few days, and I'll get you some shorties asap.

Casey

Thanks for the additional info Casey. And I can't resist saying this BASED on your avatar... that is strike two, three strikes and YOU'RE OUT! :p

Thanks Ryan, I appreciate it.

You got is rsngfrce - I'm like the Oakland As. But hopefully the long ones will tide you over till the next black ones are ready - and maybe by then I'll have learned how to count. ;-)

Hi Casey,

I sent over Pay Pal funds today for 1 short clip (black powder coat).
Just want to make sure you received it.
Thanks again. Can't wait to rock your clip on my PM2!

I'm trying out the powercoated long clip that Casey sent me and somebody PLEASE tell me they had as much trouble getting the screws into the clip as I did! The top one was easy, but the bottom two must have taken me 15 freaking minutes, having them shoot out of my tweezers, searching for them on the floor, repeat, repeat, repeat... PLEASE tell me I am not becoming senile! :nightmare:

I think the powdercoating slightly reduces the size of the hole, so I eventually figured out the bottom two screws would not just slip into the holes, so I had to push/screw them in (from an angle). I'm NOT complaining, just feeling very inept at the moment... :o

Hey Casey! Sent funds for 1 short and 1 long clip via paypal. Thanks! Look forward to receiving them. email was johnson.rym AT gmail DOT com

Hey Casey,
Just sent payment for 3 short clips via paypal. Please confirm I'll be on your list.

Thanks much,
Jacob Thomas

Hey Ad, hey Jacob. Got it. Thanks!

Hey Neff, sorry but I'm afraid they won't. The hole pattern on the Dragonfly is slightly different from the standard 3 hole pattern.

Man, rsng, I am really sorry. I think that is strike three! I have heard from a couple people that the powder coat was a little heavy on their clips and the screw holes were affected because of it. I think most were fine, but yours is the second instance I've heard about it. Sorry brother! I think I owe you a care package for all the trouble you've had with my stuff.

LOL! Not a problem, thanks for just confirming it, it was driving me insane until I figured out the screws weren't going to just slip through two of the holes. I was REALLY not using the correct tweezers either, which is the main reason I shot the screws around the room around twenty times... :D. Mighty Casey has not struck out yet... a little heavy powder coat is much better than a little light powder coat!

You are too kind Rsng. I tested the few I have left and the screws slipped in easily - sorry that you got one of the thicker ones! Love that green backspacer! Looks great on your PM2.
