Long time lurker, just registered on the forum to post in this thread!
The pocket clip on my DICE was injured yesterday.. so I decided to take the plunge.

PayPal order placed for a Short / Sandwashed clip.

Arrived today, already installed. The black powercoated looks awesome on my blacked out PM2. Glad to support a product Made in USA. I can post a photo if anyone is interested.

Casey, thanks for the great customer service. New clip came in the mail yesterday. Are the new clips available in cerakote or regular powdercoat?

HI Bob - the new clips are cerakoted. Josh at Razor Edge (here on BF) does a great job with it. The cerakoting looks better than the powder coating (imo), and wears better too.

Glad I found these here before I went I got some random make off of eBay. I heard good things about these clips, especially on the Spydeco forum. I understand a "black cerekote" option is now available. At first, I was going to do the "oxi clean" method I read about earlier to darken the clip...but a black cerekote finish would look a whole lot nicer, IMHO. I just have one question and am waiting a response from Casie about this. How well does the cerekote finish hold up? Does it chip or flake over time? I know he said these are guaranteed for life...I just don't want the clip to start chipping on me. Has anyone ordered the black cerekote option, and if so...how has it held up?? I'm going to pick one of his up for sure...just not sure what version yet. If the cerekote is strong and won't chip easily...I'll take that path. But if it is prone to chipping, I might try the "oxi clean" method instead. And lastly, is there a choice in color of screws you can get? Stainless/black? I'm sure Casey will respond to my email right real soon...just thought I would ask here because I'm impatient....lol. Honestly, he got back to me within an hour of my first email. I heard wonders about his work and plan to order more for some of my other pieces!

Hey Ry - sorry for the delay in my response. The cerakoted clips are $20, and $3 shipping for any amount. Josh at Razor Edge here on BF does the coating for me - he does a killer job.

Hey Arm - thanks for checking in. My goal is to have all clips shipped by this Saturday. The black clips will be caught up by next week - I'm a bit behind on those, but I'll get them out asap.

Hey Harry - I've gotten good feedback about the cerakote from guys so far. Josh does a great job, and imo they hold up much better than powder coating. And I'll replace it down the road if it chips off on you.
