Delta Sheath Owner Refusing to offer business over his own mistakes

Just move on. You’re being irrational. You were refunded, and got to keep the sheath. Find another business to meet your needs instead of looking for ways to tank this one because they won’t bend the knee to your demands.
 
So he admitted to knowingly sending a defective sheath, gives me a refund and acts like he wants to keep my business and then shadow bans me? Is this too difficult for you to comprehend?
And how exactly is that ripping you off? You got your money and the product. You were so satisfied that you wanted to give him more business. That is ripping you off? Be detailed in explaining how that works.
 
agree with others here saying let it go and get over it. you got a free sheath and your money back. fella doesn't want to do business with you again. that's on you and how you behaved. this whole post comes across as butthurt and trying to get some childish sort of revenge, yet you lost nothing at all.

the saying "the customer is always right" doesn't mean what you think it does. it means the fair and reasonable customer is always right. you're not being either of those things in this thread.
 
Addressing the belt fit issue. It's true that a new leather sheath can be very tight and need some break in time. I think if you work with it and get a belt into the loop and leave it awhile you will see it loosen up some. You can loosen it with your fingers it's not steel.

I'd say they went above refunding and letting you keep the sheath. And from your limited posts on here, I can understand why they declined to take another order from you.

Seems too many nowdays think they are entitled to things. A maker, seller, etc. can choose to do business with who they want and not those they don't.

Just curious ... wth does eating liver for breakfast have to do with anything?
 
Yeah, at $80 bucks for a 3oz. piece of leather, you damn right I'm picky. I offered to send the sheath back and he could've done whatever he wanted with it. Also, you have no idea the effort it took for me to get the sheath over that one belt and the damage it caused to my belt. And for the record, me attempting to purchase another sheath that was larger as a gift for a relative was me trying to show my appreciation for the refund. Obviously, I am not the one that is butt hurt, he is.

Just because you're fine with getting ripped off, doesn't mean I have to be. Also, did you not read? The second sheath wasn't for myself. It was going to be a gift for a relative who only carries vertically and has no ability to purchase it himself. I intentionally purchased a larger sheath thinking the belt loop would be larger after his seemingly warm response to my concerns and my polite response of appreciation thanking him. I'm the customer, not the expert on everything leather. It wasn't until after I received an error that my credit card could not be validated and further stated to use a different credit card, that I contacted him but received no response. I then used the same card but used a different email address and it successfully went through and immediately realized he had banned me. It was only then I finally get a response to my inquiries. This is when I posted this inquiry. Just curious, as to how or what I did wrong with absolutely no explanation but that I was "Over-entitled" for him knowingly sending a defective sheath. Maybe you should have a little more knowledge about the situation before you go firing off, youngin.

The Maker lost money dealing with you, was prompt and professional throughout and decided to cut his losses by not dealing with you in the future.

Everyone here clearly states they will only sell to those members they wish to do business with. The above Maker also has that prerogative.

The fact you came here to complain about him shows he made the right decision.
No , the maker lost money because he chose the lazy route and thought he would be slick.

Fortunately, I don’t take orders from you. I know the difference between right and wrong and I’m fully secure in myself knowing, no matter what is said, that I did everything right. What is with these arrogant sheath makers? Thay send you crap for exorbitant prices and then blame you for their mistakes. Yeah I’ve complained previously about other shesth makers, like Patriot Leather. I ordered a left handed sheath, waited 3 months and got a right handed sheath instead. When I contacted him, he advised I use my own money to mail it back to him. Methinks the hubris of SOME of these sheath makers is a bit much and I will call them out on it everytime.

he's not going to as he knows he has no logical or reasonable argument......but like all bad consumers they have this crazy idea that they are needed as customers and can behave badly and write bad reviews and still be wanted as a customer......

when they get fired they can't come to the only logical conclusion, that they aren't needed.
 
Yes you were entitled to a full refund which you received. Yes the vendor is allowed to decide who he does and does not do business with in the future.

I have puzzled over that. The only thing I can figure is that he somehow misread it as PETA, a radical vegetarian organization. If it wasn't that, then I guess he has the idea that people who eat liver for breakfast have especially polite and sunny dispositions.
