Design feedback on a general purpose bush-craft. WIP. Done with pics

Use a sandpaper backer It will help out quite a bit. I get my handles close then file down the corby's high spots. Then go to hard rubber backed paper(a hard rubber "stick" with paper over it) :)

Thats a great tip. I am going to dig out my rubber back paper block.
 
I decided do go zen with this one although its just a prototype.

Progression. Öberg cut file, fine file, by this time the over all shape was finished. 80, 100, 120, 240, 320, 400 clean of whit ethanol. Polish metal parts. Clean of whit ethanol. 400 and polish wood parts. Clean of and danish oil.

Cool blade man! I like it.

One question bud, what program did you use to draw those sketches up in?

Im getting into knife making and am in the process of designing my first blade and have been looking for a simple program to work with.

Looks good. I like the shape, looks very utilitarian.
