I have a brown bone DE clip point barlow that my Dad nabbed somewhere as a kid-also he has a Shapleigh hardware 3" (ish) trailing point fixed blade that may have some DE connection. Next time I'm at the folks I'll grab some pics. Both would date to 1935 or so.
It's a poor knife in truth. Certainly nothing like the others shown in this thread. It's a good thing you guys share your pics in this forum, as this was my first oldie. If not for y'all I would still be under the impression that old knives were rubbish.
