Really liking this thread and the original Diamond Edge knives/the modern reproductions. Been leafing through here for the past 10 minutes. Greattt knives Phil~

Thanks guys!

CC, the iron plate is the cover off an old Shapleigh axe grinding stone.

Beautiful older DEs guys! I knw why so many of us like these,,,it's because most were made by Schrade Cut Co.

An old Joseph Allen and Sons bowie from Sheffield England Circa 1830-1900. It's got some great character. Saw it in an antique shop and couldn't resist.

Excellent line up Phil. That JA is a beauty too, Z. Great old bone on all of 'em.

Phil, any one of those would be the centerpoint of a collection, but a dozen in one photo . . . . WOW!!

Another new addition. Emphasis on "in the rough!"

And another photo I took a while ago with an old cast iron cover from an axe grinding stone. Makes a great backdrop!

I picked up this small (3") split back pen/whittler not too long ago.

I don't know what it is...maybe it's the blade etch, or maybe it's the gorgeous color and jigging of the bone, or maybe it's the small size... but there's just something about this one that *sings* to me:
