Dick Singer (Sogguy) has passed

I'm so sorry to hear this:(

Condolences to his family and friends...he will be missed.
 
I am saddened to hear this. While I never had the pleasure of meeting Dick in person or really even much interaction on the forum, from what I have read about him and posts written by him he was a very generous and caring individual.

He will be missed, but not forgotten.
 
I heard in a phone call from munk today...it made it easier than simply reading it here.

They must have some *really* nice knives in Heaven...

in heaven the khukris are always sharp and convexed, and the trees are never full of knots, there are always DOTDs and the paypal is always full :)

dick's passing will not go unnoticed, and he will be missed for sure. i regret not having more time with him. i do have the honor of having a particularly nice older khukri of his, and it will tast some wood tonite, in his honor.

The way Dick handled his illness and shared with the Cantina just continued to show the type of person he was. I hope he left with no regrets and got to see the last few things he wanted to....not Greenland or Antartica, but the ones important to him. Dick, we did'nt ever meet, but look for me if I ever make it there.
