Did anyone receive knives for Christmas?

Don't know what Christmas would be without a knife under the tree. I received a Pat Crawford large Kasper with stag overlays on the handle. This is one awesome knife. Stout, smooth opening, sharp as a razor, and beautiful to boot! The stag overlays look great and fill my hand perfectly.
Our son received a digital camera from Grandma that will soon be used to post a picture of this beauty. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!

My son David (10) got the three blade medium Case stockman that Les Robertson gave him a couple of weeks ago at the Chesapeake show. He already started making wood chips on the kitchen floor, much to his mother's dismay. No cuts yet. I picked something up at that show too. But Mommy took it from me until Christmas, threatening to send it back to the elves if I wasn't 'good'.

It's a beautiful large Daniel Winkler friction folder. 4-inch edge-grain damascus blade, 6.5 inch stag scaled handle with steel bolsters. There is great file work from tip to butt. One of the largest friction folders I have ever seen, this one is a lot of fun to play with.

It really Was in my stocking. Right next to an orange (the horror).

Yup, I got a Cold Steel SRK and a CRKT k.i.s.s. The allen blade custom that I bought for myself is on the way!!
Its a good christmas!

FLY GUY

I asked for a ka-bar and my girlfriend bought me a short ka-bar! This little knife is neat! What a pleasant surprise! It came hair shaving sharp and the black coating on the blade is flawless. It is a sharpened prybar of a knife with more class than an SRK!

Yup: My son got me a knife in Spain where he lives and brought it with him during his X-mas visit. It's a Muela folder (like a 110)with fingergroves, wood/brass,lots of stout, with a long clip w/a lot of belly in 440C. He knows I like old style folding hunter pattern knives and this one's a beaut. My father gave me a late birthday/Christmas present. It isn't a knife, but a Cold Steel Battle Axe(with the langets). It is sooo cool. One of those things I never would have bought for myself, but I'm glad I've got one!!

Blades(and an axe)

I got a Brownning Midas Grade Folder from my Dad. I'm not much for presentation pieces, but it sure is pretty.

I had a MT Christmas, my wife gave me a LCC/DA, and my parents a Socom Elite auto.
Of course they were not a suprise as I picked them both out and ordered them from Mike at AKO, but is sure was nice to have others foot the bill for this addiction we all suffer from. Thanks Sherry and mom and dad.

A Spyderco Calypso Jr. lghtweight. A very sweet design. Now, I have to see if I can talk "My Reason For Living" into something sharp & pointy for my birthday, too.

I received a made-in-Taiwan folder which costs about US$7 from my daughter. It is pretty well made and looks nice too.
To me the Xmas gift is priceless because she spent all her pocket money on that knife.
