Did the swiss create the ultimate pocket knife?

I carry a clear huntsman on my keychain, but rarely use it as I keep a Leatherman Sidekick on me as well.

However if I forgot everything at home or had to leave in a hurry, it is very likely that my only blade with me would be the SAK.

So I guess you could say that in my very worst case senario I would only have a SAK.

The swiss army knife is a great compact tool to have in a pocket, pack or the glove box. I like the simple aluminum scaled Cadet, Alox. They are well made and are hard to beat for the money, not to mention classic! I am swiss born though so that makes me a little biased ;) My only gripe with them is the blade steel leaves something to be desired, on the other hand they are easy to sharpen. I have a lot of fond memories hiking in the swiss alps as a kid, whenever we stopped for lunch all my family members would get out their swiss army knives to make sandwiches.

Would anyone have a photo of a Swiss Bianco Sunset Orange? I certainly hope they come out with more of these colors in the near future.
 
I'm enjoying this Pioneer that came in the mail last week so much that I ordered a Cadet.

That they do. I must admit that I splurged on the Cadet and purchased an Alox in bright orange - looks like a Sunkist. Set me back a bit more than the standard colors. But that bright orange just looks so happy. And even at the high end for a SAK, it was far less money than I typically spend for a knife. I may be hooked.
 
I like this one so much I may actually have it engraved with my initials. It won't be leaving my collection, until I pass it along to the next generation.
 
You guys suck! I'm settling in nicely with my plain old silver Alox Farmer and you guys keep showing these danged good looking colored Alox SAKs. Keep making me want to get another in Orange or Green for daily carry.
