Blimey, they sure are charging for hops these days!
I've got an antique garden bench, made around 100 years ago from teak taken from a British ship captured by the French at the Battle of Trafalgar. For the past six months or so, because of some renovation work on my house, it's been covered up with plastic sheeting, as has my other garden furniture. Since I'll probably move house sometime this year, the bench is going to a pal on a long-term loan. So I've just been out in the garden with my Aitor Castor Pequena cutting a dozen or so cable ties which were holding the sheeting in place. Unfortunately, one of the two padlocks securing the bench is jammed, so I'm going to have to get the hacksaw out too![]()
Well apparently there is a hop shortage Jack.....
......probably because they are over-hopping all those otherwise tasteless beers mind!
That may be too hard for a hacksaw sir, you may want to try a cutoff wheel, bolt cutters, or a good ole' 303 Brit.
Just gi'it a whack wit'hammer lad!

I like the way you think!![]()
That's a tasty burger.....
Thanks for the advice fellers. It's only a cheap lock, more for show than anything else (since determined thieves could have cut through the wood). My neighbour owns an angle-grinder I can borrow if needed, and besides it'll do my mate good to have a work-out!![]()
that aitor is a pretty nice knife, isnt it?
