Update on earlier post:

Spread some jalapeno jam that my lady friend's boss gave her for Christmas.

And sliced up some apple and butter for a dessert in the microwave cooker my lady friend gave me for Christmas

no pictures, but today i did some wine tasting with the folks. we stopped for some lunch and i used my yellow case slimline trapper in cv to cut up a few sandwiches for sharing. also sliced open a bag of crisps to share. currently, the slimline is periodically taking slices off of a lime for our evening mules.

Used my SAK Super Tinker reamer to clean out some electrical screw caps that had old copper in them. Worked like a charm and now so does my new garbage disposal.

My BF12 knife helped chopping up some potatoes and leek. Together with a saucisson vaudois, a special smoked pork sausage, It's one of the simplest dishes there is. But oh so tasty.

Damn that looks good. What vegetables are being used, potatoes and ? The beer and the knife look good also.

sturzi: that is exactely my taste of food - looks really great! You should have added some mustard and fine black bread ;) :p

Thanks guys. It's perfect when you're not in the mood to cook something more complicated. Even someone who couldn't fry some bacon could do it :).

Just some leek.

Bread: yes, mustard: not for me ;)

Yes pumperknickel or maybe a nice freshly made Bavarian pretzel.

My new TC Barlow w/spey has become my official steak knife now. The spey is ideal for this and it slices thru a steak/chicken breast/pork chop smooth as silk! I truly love this new Charlow in african blackwood. It hasn't been out of arm's reach since it emerged from it's tube 3 weeks ago. :)

I cleaned a Whitetail Doe last night with my Buck 110. I know it's a crummy picture, but you get the idea.

Wow...a friend still has your keychain carving from 15 yrs ago!! Great job on the rehab. Its the little things..

Today I used my sweet little Bulldog sodbuster generously gifted to me by Pinnah recently...

...to make a pile of empty boxes all fit into one box :)

I hope that Bulldog has found a forever home now! Its taken quite a journey the past few months!

It was gifted to me by chewy1. I then gifted it to pinnah who in turn paid it forward! :-)

:) Yes, it will have a home for the foreseeable future with me :) Thank you for passing it along, it fills a neat niche for me .It's cool to hear the story of its travels to my hand, makes the knife kind of special to me

You're super welcome, although Pinnah did all the sending! I am curious as to what niche it fills? I was amazed to find out that the red ones are either made in Germany or assembled by GEC in the US. Bulldog only made 40 or so of the red ones each year. That said when I received it, I really did marvel at the sodbuster design, Bulldog does a really good one with the skinny squared off handles!

As the little red Bulldog sat in my utility drawer I could almost feel it talking to me, use me or let me go to someone who would use it. I immediately thought of Pinnah. And Chewy1 had originally wanted it to go to someone who would use the knife as well. So I think all is right now!

The electrician's knife glides through this thick rubber hose for a dishwasher air gap like it's slicing through warm butter!
