Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

tsous, what Starr Hill is that? (We have one between Utica and Old Forge in upstate New York).

I was going to carve an aurochs on the front of this handle and a boar on the back (brash advance and fighting retreat). Then I was going to do a bison for its flatter profile and simpler horns. I did manage to get most of the bark off at least.

Thanks Jack!
Yes I have 'passion' for local micro-breweries. Indeed one very local one has opened up an ale only pub in St. Andrews. Must visit in the next few days.
My new(to me) scout knife has been working hard the last few days! And shall be working harder!

Take care all!

Toronto got hit by a major ice storm. With no heat or power for 3 days I have been using a peanut and the other day a case medium stockman to cut cardboard for a fire, some food prep and scraping candle wax to replace them.

I'm sorry to hear of your adventure and hope it soon has a favorable end.

Today I used my sweet little Bulldog sodbuster generously gifted to me by Pinnah recently...

...to make a pile of empty boxes all fit into one box :)

Fantastic. I don't think there's ever been a better time for beer

Hope you're all OK Mudguard

Perfect? Maybe as an accompaniment to nice roast.

Hey, I think you'll find that's actually Spirili con pan fritto asparagi i fungi i salsiciccia vegano! ;)

Or something like that (my apologies in advance to our Italian posters)! :D

Thank you to everyone for your good wishes. We did get power back after 3 days in the dark. At 10pm on Christmas Eve it was great to see lights come on. The Christmas trees and lights were something great to see last night. I got away with just using a small buck lighter, a case medium stockman and a little pocket flashlight to keep the home nice and warm haha. The. For Christmas I got a brand new yellow cv peanut from my wife. It opened presents and a few cuts of twice while packing branches together from what fell because of the ice storm weight. After this I can really say the peanut and medium stockman are all the blades I could ever need, besides my mora and my axe. Merry Christmas!!

After opening Christmas boxes I used my 6232 to pierce the skin on some ducks before smoking them.

Looks like a great meal, and no apology necessary to this 1/2 italiano paisano. :D

I can't make it out- there's a small curved stamp ending in "ghnal". I'm pretty sure of the "l" and none too sure of the "g".
I think it's pretty old, since it has no fake hammer marks and it had steel pins. It may have been nickel- plated.
