Different Look and Feel Forum

The neat thing is that the color schemes are all optional from the Preferences menu. But I do not know if the websites have to purchase the schemes or create them from scratch. ??

I'm old... I hate change...
I hate change too.
I was used to how it was before and preferred it that way.

This is probably the biggest most modern forum I'm on, so I'm used to and prefer a less advanced arguably more dated forum layout.

I'm sure I'll get used to it just like I did the last time it changed, but currently I do not like the new look and layout one bit.

I'm already used to it....haven't learned all the nifty tricks ya can do with the upgrade yet...can do the basics now that I always did......I used to use the white on the old software. highly prefer the grey on the new software.

Just s little caught up in this change piling on all the others, i.e. change in both top BCCI leaders, Mrs. Buck voted off board, new company president, loss of Houser inhouse (I support a fellow retiring but will miss shadow on the floor), and early in year the discontinued 309. It just seems to be change just to be changing. Theirs more room to type but less lines on a page. I am just slow to make changes be a part of my 'function',
Can someone please explain what this reference to the 309 means? I keep hoping for its return.

Much faster for me which is great! I hadn't been on here as much as the old version was running really sloooooooooooooow for me for months now. Don't like change much but this is working better for me.

This is my first post since the change. Im getting used to it but it seems I have to scroll more to the different headings. Maybe in a week or two they will have things all fixed and the bugs gone. It is much faster now and I like the lightning bolt to new posts that is nice. It’s been a busy week but I’ll try some pictures soon.

I found that "editing" is a whole lot better. I'm coming around.
Have not tried pictures yet.... Sunday is coming...
Makael seems to have no problem with the test pics.

Lesknife Lesknife What "lightning bolt"?

Here is a 1024X image. I wonder what the optimum size will be on the new forum and how much storage allowed for a gold member?

jbmonkey jbmonkey There is not Lightning Bolt on my screen there.

Perhaps as IDhorace IDhorace suggests, is it on a phone? I am using a Chromebook. What are you using?
yea I’m using an iOS, iPad and iPhone. It’s been since 2014 my hp laptop got hijacked by a ransom virus and was gonna cost more than a new one to get it fixed so I quit using it and went with my wireless. Haven’t had any problems with viruses or anything since.
The lightning bolt takes you to the newest posts.

Ya, quite a surprise as I hadn't been on in a day or so.
I didn't have any speed problems with the old set up.
I'm glad they kept the dark theme it is easier on the eyes for sure.
Don't see no lightning bolts on the laptop. But the old forum just clicking on it took you to the latest post.
and picture loaded easy enough, maybe a little faster.
