Digging Up Buried Knives

Wow great thread. A real class act JNieporte beyond your generosity you have answered a multitude of questions about buried caches of supplies. The change in the land use and accessibility in just four years is an eye opener. May I ask why you buried the knives in the first place. I may have missed it if you gave a reason.
Edited to add, an additional thank you for identifying the jerks that need to be on my ignore list I noticed that who ever said this
I can't believe everyone is falling for this.
Was it P.T. Barnum who said there was one born every minute.
And those with like comments did not have the balls to man up and apologize. Not a single one. PATHETIC

I'm wondering how the KaBar with 1095 steel held up after that long, since I have knives from that steel. I would expect most stainless to come out okay, but 1095 with leather handles ... now that's another question.

What happened to this, Wally? You waited for two days and decided that it was time to say hi again?

I've asked you, several times, to stop posting in the two threads mentioned. I gave you valid reasons. I pointed out to you what rules you were violating. So, this "trying to be polite" that you mention is nowhere to be found. A little bit of respect for the Forum rules and this thread's members would be really nice, but I guess that's too much to ask for.

It's amazing that some people seem not be able to understand simple English.

WOW has the Leek really been around for 4 years? Damn I'm getten old. :)

Where all al the pictures of the pipe and the dirt and what they looked like when you took them out?

Ban!

Been explained. Read the threads before asking already addressed questions people.

Ban? Are you kidding? JNieporte is a highly contributing member of this forum, not even counting the generosity in these threads. He is ill and cannot reply right now. Chill out.

Been reading his recent reviews over at RAT cutlery and SOG specialty.

Actually I haven't. Still not seeing your point. Maybe other things have come up. It happens. Considering that you aren't eligible for the giveaway and have been asked by the OP repeatedly to butt out, why do you continue to jump into them? Back off and let it be. If he takes a while to reply here, or post pics, or ship the knives, who cares? No one is out anything. If you honestly have a gripe with him, take it to W&C where appropriate responses can be made.

" No one is out anything " unbelievable....It's all about doing what you say you will do.

20 of your 74 posts on this board are in this or the other thread. Why is it that you believe you need to swoop in and police this giveaway when long standing members are telling you you're acting like an impatient child.

J will get to it when he gets to it. No one who has won a knife is complaining. It's a knife, not a kidney. There's no rush. You are the only one whining, which is made even more silly by the fact that you have no stake in this thread. J has no need to answer to you. If you think he's a bad guy, and pulling everyone's leg, you have an ignore function.

Who on earth said he’s not doing what he said he was going to? It seems he’s been ill and busy at work. Do you really think that boxing, packaging, and shipping a bunch of knives at his own expense is really gonna be top on the list of things to do?
