Dinged for my JackManDu woo hoo!

I got dinged yesterday for sage with black/red G10. No shipping on it, yet, I think. Unless it is in the mystery shipping notice I got from them yesterday that I thought was for my RMD that I got dinged on last week. It just occurred to me that MAYBE they shipped them together. Because, best I remember, the last one I got from them was like 2-day Priority Mail, for a single knife. This is UPS Ground to Washington from Ohio. Don't know if it is the distance or the size.

At a minimum, it will be my RMD, which will round out my 'mandu collection: Two RMD's (black mic on tanker, tan mic on sage), two INFImandu's (both black mic on BIG(?)), and two SWATmandu's (tan mic and red/black G10). Don't think I'll be able to do that with the JMD, though. Would have bought two at the time if I had actually started the two'mandu collection then.

What a great community, it's awesome to see how passion for these knives bridges gaps thousands of miles wide!
I love my RMD's but kinda wish I'd ordered two JMD's too, I'm sure I can find one for a neat price on the ex later but dang the 1.25 blade width should make this thing one stabby knife.

Wow that's awesome! I like the way you used passion rather than addiction. I guess that makes me addicted to my passion :eek: :thumbup:

Yeah, I love my RMD's as well but I'm really looking forward to the JMD's. I seem to be always wanting a little more blade length. I'm sure they'll be a few kicking around on the exchange soon enough.
 
With the Rodent 6 no longer a store offering, it would be nice to see the JMD fill that spot. Or the JMD and the BMD if I'm being greedy.

Looking forward to a review from someone who's owned and used all three.
 
Beefy is incredible and if jack is just a tad thinner it will be legendary.

cant wait to thrash this one when it arrives

Ooops, in my excitement it didn't register that the UPS email said "Busse Combat" instead of Swamp Rat. It may be related to something else. :foot:

Any chance you can do a side by side if you have a RMD?
 
The black canvas is much darker than I'm used to seeing in pics, may be a new batch (nvrmnd, they lightened up a lot after some use, guess they just had a lot of oil on them from the shop). The handle scales are also contoured, which makes the grip feel slimmer than the RMD. My initial thought is that it would be super cool to throw in some red liners, but I'll give it some time.

I have a couple of RMDs and can do a pic a little later.

When you do pics, can you do a top down on the handles comparison between the RMD and JMD please? Got me worried now as I find the RMD handle just bordering on too narrow.
 
Yep, just out of the bush after chasing deer around for the past week and got my ding for the JMD/Vex combos.... :D

I have a user LE, but grabbed my still minty fresh CG for the pic since the stock thickness is the same as the JMD:
