Dinged for the CHOP HOUSE

Congrats and thanks for the pix grogimus! The Chop House boys look excellent!!!! :thumbup: :thumbup:

Man I can not wait til Wednesday now :)

thank you for the pics

Couple more...I'll add the Skinner feels thinner behind the edge than I thought...nice! And Denny needs a bonus for all these fine edged he's putting on these blades. [emoji106][emoji106]

Nice pics, and +1 on Denny's edges.

Someone's going to have to be let go between the Thick and Lean Cuts, right now between those two I think it might be the... ASH-2?[emoji33] Bears more thinking I suppose.

Dammit, I was too holy after 3 ayahuasca ceremonies in Peru, and decided not to.
Since then, a little evil came back to hunt me with all these delicious offerings. A thick chophouse
would make a perfect backpacking knife.

I hope to score one on the exchange

Hot off the press!!!

Thanks Tom, this thing does feel great in hand. I haven't gotten to take the Chop House out yet, but it's so blade heavy it seems like the handle might just be along for the ride...

Minneapolis. Should get here tonight. Big factor for me in keeping CH is if will fit in BK9 sheath as really ain't got more $ to put into it. More pics seeing of it tho more wanna keep it. 99% sure skinners never leaving.

Anybody weighed the thin and thick? Interested what the weight difference is between the two. If much at all.

I only have the thick which isn't great for comp between the two cuts, but it feels lighter than the BGTG. Forward balanced with that thick blade, but a lot less handle and no guard. But all that chopping...

As soon as I get the thick --- I'll post the weight. I assume the Thick will weigh 22-24 oz ---- rather I hope

Cool.:thumbup: Kinda hoping there is a bit of weight difference between the two too. Thinking lean will be 17-18oz.

Looks like they're a little too tall for the BK9 sheath. You might be able to take a heat gun to it and flatten it out a bit, I'm not sure.

Perfect comparison! Love your Winkler. I have a belt knife.

Don't know if anybodies weighed them yet but

CHOPHOUSE THIN :::: 15.3 OZ
SKINNER :::: 6.2 OZ

The damn chophouse feels/looks great.😩 Was hoping would be able to get rid of without hesitation but not happening. I'm glad went with black. Moss looks purty tho too. Glad with choices cept wish woulda got a thick cut also to see differences between both.

Hmmmm if the thin is 15.3 oz ---- the thick should be between 20-21 oz --- that's cool --- 22-24 oz would have been even better. If it does end up in the 20-21 oz range --- it'll be the same as the Dogfather CG and/or the SYKCO 1111
