Well, I have those, plus the 1.4 / 0.6 set, with some WE Strops. However, I admit to being a bit impatient. I did one on the WE through the 0.6 micron and then stropped it on a large leather strop that I have. Edge came out very polished, damn near a mirror finish. The SH-e gen 2 i did, i wanted to put a convex edge on it. I used the WE to grind it to a 19 degree angle, through the 1000, then went to the 2000 grit Silicone Carbide paper all the way to 5,000 grit. After that, I went back to the strop with .25 micron Boron Carbine spray to get it to a near mirror finish. Still working on it, but a full mirror will take a while at 0.25 micron. I'm too impatient to worry about getting it that good as both are destined to be users and not display knives. Yes, setup right and used correctly the WE can do what you want, or take your finger off! :>) Have Fun!
 
Thanks,I am going to do a 20 degree edge on my BG SFNO after I get the 800 1000 stones and just use 1500 and 2500 sandpaper with a strop I have now until I get the ceramic stones and strops for the WE.

Well, UPS rescheduled my delivery to tomorrow. The 22nd is my birthday, so maybe Jerry and the gang planned it that way:)
 
This is a beast. Heavy for it's size (just shy of 14oz.) but a nice feel in the hand. Going to be a brute of a user for sure.

I love the small choil. It looks like it could benefit from a bit of pommel removal. I did it to my original SteelHeaetErgo after owning an original BA-E is the only reason I mention it.

The ricasso looks like a better size than the original also. Looks sweet.
 
Looks more like an original in your pics than the stock photos. Can't wait to get mine. Need to call the shop again the end of the week if I haven't heard anything by then.
