I would really appreciate it if STeven would post pictures of some of his favorite knives and explain different aspects and why he likes them. I think it would be very beneficial and at the same time very educational for all of us. I don't know if this is the appropriate thread, if not feel free to open a new one. Maybe start with general principles that apply to any knife and then drill down into principles that apply to specific types.
