Disappointing D2

kudos to benchmade for covering a blade that obviously looks like it was used for something other than cutting.
ive battoned my presidio through wood to split logs and didnt see anything damage to the blade

Update on the Knife. So far all the Costumer service reps have been nothing but nice Here's what sucks I cant get my knife back because they no longer have parts for it which for me sounds odd. They have offered me a replacement option

or a credit just want my knife fixed hate buying a Knife from a picture like to touch and feel before I make a Knife purchase Now what do I do . This is the Knife they offered as a replacement http://www.benchmade.com/products/15031

I find it odd that they don't have parts for it as well, since they just discontinued it last year. That being said, the one they're offering you as a replacement is a nice upgrade, if you ask me. I don't care much for thumb holes any more, and the mini-Bone Collector wasn't exactly a hard use knife due to size, so the s30v would be perfect for a knife with a 3" blade.

If you want D2, get a 275 Adamas. It will handle it, although a 6' fall of a ladder onto concrete can easily do in any blade if it hits wrong.
