Disccusion: Beckerhead BK-10 Special (was: Don't you just HATE it when ...)

I ordered a BK10 from Ka-Bar today at around 10:30am and they still had some in stock.

So anyone that doesn't have a BH # still has a chance.

It wasn't me, although I did think about offering mine to the popo guy for 700... But I knew he wouldn't accept that though....:)
 
So can I still call the new Kabar version a crewman or is that reserved for the camillus version?

I called on August 1 and my Bk-10 showed up today in time to celebrate my impending release from my company of 15 years. That's not even the real kick in the kiester, but the fact then when I used my SAK to open the box it bit me out of sheer jealousy. Can you believe that? So as I stare into the abyss of seeking gainful employment, I can't help but say a HUGE thank you to Ethan, Toooj and the entire KaBar/Becker family for making the BK-10 a reality.

I'm in the IT field working for an OEM. The market is solid and the company gave me a decent cushion. Now I can get out and do some camping with my daughter and play in the woods. I got a laugh out of the packaging of the BK-10, very creative.
 
I called KaBar directly. I was gonna take a ride to their place if I could (i'm bored), but 6 hours is kinda a long ride for a knife. lol
 
I think page 28 of this thread has ka bars phone number. $158.00 shipped. Knife, micarta scales, sheath, bell & whistle.
