Disccusion: Beckerhead BK-10 Special (was: Don't you just HATE it when ...)

Without a doubt my favorite production made knife is the Becker knife. I have the 2, 9, 11, and the 13.

Hopefully a BK10 in the morning, first thing.

he should be as in you know the gentleman, or is your real name john haha?? either way, it was a pleasure dealing with him, and i also got a really nice email from beth today after sending them a follow up email inquiring about when my blade was/will be shipped. should be here tomorrow...getting closer to beckerhead status!
 
the LE bk10 was pulled from the bay. just got a cancellation email due to the item no longer being available. change of heart perhaps? maybe just gonna sit on it until they are all gone and hope the price explodes? either way i didnt win it :(

Maybe they read our posts and realized they should have waited til they sold out from ka bar. They realized you would have won, clich. No money to be made that way!
 
I saw that last night, and started wondering what beckerhead put his up for sale. As sales to the nonbeckerhead general public didn't start until yesterday.
 
i had trouble sleeping in anticipation of the aug 1 sales and was sure the 10's were going to sell out right away. i must have called for 20 minutes straight before i got someone. ..then i realized i was calling tomar's ka-bar instead of ka-bar directly. felt like an idiot but luckily i was still able to order (once i called the right number). hopefully, tomar's number is not to a person's house or they must have thought i was nuts. i'm surprised they are still available. with all the anticipation i was sure they would be gone right away. i'm broke or i'd be buying more. (quiet tanner)

i was surprised too at how easily i was able to place my order, was expecting busy signals and hoping i'd break through at the right time to get mine. good for us though!
