I haven't seen the RBK yet (can't wait!!) but the main benefit of the Machax is that it is very small and compact for a big knife.

Same place. This was the reason for the

.....I grew up across Lake Ontario from Toronto, had a lot of Canadian friends and this was our inside joke....because it sounds more exotic and if you take the "n" off the end of Canadian you get.....Canadia. Besides, Tim knew what I was talking about....

The 4 is the perfect big knife for those that don't want the big knife kind of feel. The RBK isn't THAT much bigger. But, still one will not replace the other. Two totally different blades.

I got a 15 a couple of weeks ago on sale and can't put it down. Saw the 5 on sale and its on its way. I got the "You ordered ANOTHER knife" from the wife when she saw the bank draft, and now I see this thread...
Well, I'm glad I got them but now I have to get the 4!? Geez, how do I pull that one off??!!
