discrete EDC

Hello

I am looking for a folding knife with a blade 3-4 inches that would be discrete as an EDC in the pocket of my dress slacks.
A really deep-carry clip might help or a wire clip. At first i was looking for something tan in color but that is not necessary. It has to be rather straight so as to not be obtrusive (spyderco curved blades for example would not work)

Any suggestions?

I don't like pocket clips at any time but I particularly don't think they fit well with dress slacks.

The clipless Buck 500 Duke is quite thin and the rounded bolsters combined with thin profile make it imprint less than other knives I've owned in this size range.

The current versions have Birch Dymondwood scales and a slightly different blade shape.

Perhaps something more traditional. Like a swiss army knife or a case peanut.

Nothing is more discrete than a swiss army knife classic.

Or if you need to open a cap now and then a rambler

GReat suggestions so far

Another to consider:

Spyderco Gayle Bradley Air (the wharncliffe)

Small, discreet and unassuming. Excellent CPM M4 steel can be beat on pretty hard for such a small knife. No clip though. LEnds to pocket carry

Small, classy looking and easy to use one handed and comes with a deep carry clip. M390 steel is great

What I use for dress slacks is a Vic alox Cadet. It's very slim and unobtrusive, yet has the basic blade set of a camper/utility knife.

With dress slacks, unobtrusive is (for me) a key quality, as I'm probably going among the Knifeless And Easily Alarmed.

There is no cutting need in your day to day life that can't be handled by a Peanut or similar sized knife. Discrete with no pocket clip showing.

Small sebenza: Its light and thin. 3" blade. Very easy to use discretely. Works great for food prep or opening boxes, etc... I also like the benchmade 940 or 943 or even the mini grip.

I have large hands, and get all four fingers on no problem

For a reasonably priced edc (and in tan), the US made Kershaw Blur is a great knife for the cost. Assisted w/thumb stud, and smooth, light, with great action.

The one just above is the Benchmade/HK Axis. Great knife that also was just released in a tan g10 version. If you like a manual but smooth, fast opener with axis lock, this one is worth checking out.

But I must say that my current all time fav is the ZT 0562CF. I really like cf, the blade size and grind is perfect for just about any task. And the KVT ball bearing pivot is mucho smooth, and will fire pretty much as fast as any assisted. Mine has perfect lockup, heavy duty enough to handle any construction site, but pretty enough to wear to church.

My favorite for dress slacks is the Benchmade 890 Torrent. It has nice sculpted polished G10 scales and a polished deep carry clip. It would be good with khakis or lighter colored dress slacks. (For navy, charcoal or black slacks you would want a black pocket clip.)

My current carry for playing dress up is a Lone Wolf Diablo Snakewood d/a. Before that it was either a Microtech Daytona or Ultratech. All carried IWB. Most slacks really don't afford much pocket room anyway.
