Hello members,

'Dishonesty’ , Please read the following and I would be interested to find out about what you all think of this situation.

The person in question is Tim Wilson ( maker) of Knoxville, TN , I have known Tim for many years, he has bought knives from me in the past.
The pictures I have uploaded is of a knife I made Tim many years ago for one of his friends, Tim told me the knife NEVER arrived, because I knew him well I went ahead and made him another FREE OF CHARGE and sent it to him. Many years later I have come across this knife on another forum, I have been communicating with its current owner (Dan) we had a long conversation on the phone regarding this matter and he has known Tim for some time, he has assured me that he traded this knife from Tim.
If I am not mistaken , if the knife according to Tim was either Stolen or Lost, how is it possible that he has recently traded it ? I have been looking out for this knife for years to come up for sale so I can find out what had happened to it.

I have sent Tim Wilson emails to allow him the correct time frame to comply and do the right thing here which is to ‘pay for the knife’,
Since he is a member on BF and other forums and a knife maker I have given him the opportunity to take care of this matter in Private, he has not done so and furthermore he does not pick up his phone.
The knife in question is the T-1000 QCF, I have always kept the original pictures of this knife before I shipped it to Tim, if you take a close look it is the same knife when you compare the pics on the forum it is on right now and my pictures on here.

I did not wish to do this in public and just wanted Tim to get in touch and explain himself and do the right thing, at the end of the day even if the knife got to him at a later date he should have done the honourable thing and emailed me to let me know the first knife I built him ‘Has arrived’ , not for me to find out this way years later.
Oh by the way, Tim also promised me a pair of combat pants and jacket which NEVER arrived years ago.
Thank you all for reading this thread, I will try to answer any questions that I can, although the finer details I may not remember since it’s been a long time but the important thing here is the first knife I made Tim arrived just fine ‘like I promised him’
Thanks

That's pretty messed up. If this is all true, pretty pompous trying to sell it publicly. By the way it's a great looking knife. I hope you get your payment for it

I just like a little honesty, that’s all, I really couldn’t care at all about the money side of it, it’s taking responsibility for your actions.

Interesting to see what happens here.

I have had a lot of poor deliveries (Ie leaving a signature required insured package on my door step several times, and marking it as delivered, and with a signature to boot, that was not mine).

I have had miss-delivered packages show up later, or go to the wrong address. Fortunately, for me, all mine have turned up.

I am very paranoid, due to my own poor delivery stories (46 inch LCD tv and Play station 3, and stack of games have all been simply left on my front porch all day!

I had a Busse shown as delivered to me and it took me 4 more days to get it!

Keep us updated on how this turns out!

Here are the pictures from the seller selling this knife, it is the same knife.

Just to be clear-- the second knife you made for Tim was unlike the first, ie, there's no chance the knife pictured here is the one you sent him as a replacement, of which you said "I went ahead and made him another FREE OF CHARGE and sent it to him," that he may have traded or sold after that?

All these pictures are the same knife, the first set of pictures are my original pictures and the ones with the blue packground are taken from the Sale thread of the person selling it on another forum. It is the same knife which I was told 'Never arrived'

What pertinux is saying, you stated that you made a second knife to replace the one that never showed up. Did you make the exact same knife twice, or was the second one different? He is implying, maybe that is the replacement knife you sent.

sir, the replacement knife would not have exactly the same grind lines, they are hand made, study all the grind marks on the blade, the positioning of the screw heads, you can clearly see it is the same knife,
Thanks for asking

It looks like it IS the same knife - look at the grind lines going through the lettering on the blade.
Like look at the line going through the "F" and the ones going through the "D".
Sad that he burned you - what goes around comes around.
Hope he gets his?

It is definitely the same knife, I am sorry that you were deceived. I hope Wilson comes to his senses and mans up.
Take care

Wow...The fact that he does not return your calls tells me all i need to know about this ..

Best
luck

The thumbstud knurling would be hard to replicate also.

Sir, I will not have that much time to spend on this matter, I will be leaving in a few days time to go to Nepal for an expedition and will not have internet connection out there, I will also have so much to think about out there including all of my sponsors etc., so it will either get sorted by then or not.
thank you
F

The first thing I offer my collectors is honesty, the second is a good product, I also make myself available to help them in any way shape or form to answer their questions anytime regarding anything. Thats the way it should be.

I hope this ends the way it should

Ah, okay. I didn't know how to "see" that. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm really sorry. What a bad surprise!

I hope this can somehow come to acceptable resolution. :(

Sorry to hear about that.. Some people are just liars.. Talk to the seller and see about making a deal with him.. Explain the matter etc...

BTW that knife is awesome.. I'd love to buy it O_O Where!

-cheers.

This is very disappointing to hear. I've spent time with Tim in years past at various shows when he was just getting into his craft and transitioning from his "real world" career.

I hope that he reads and responds to this and does whatever is necessary to restore his good name.

Farid, I hope that you get all that is rightfully coming to you.
