That is very gracious of the seller to offer to give you half. Personally I think it would be more fair to just buy it off him at a discounted price. Half of the value is a decent loss for him to take, when he had absolutely nothing to do with it.

It shows tremendous character of him to offer that, But I think it would show even more so on your part if you turned him down, and take it up with the person who is really at fault.

Best of luck to you Farid, you seem like a very honorable person, and I sincerely hope you are made whole by Tim Wilson.

What a dirtbag. Good on you Farid, for sending him a second knife, absent any proof that the first was never delivered. It's hard to believe somebody would pull a scam like that, some people have zero integrity... what a shame.

I think you meant to say that Tim Wilson is a hole, but Farid is whole.

This sort of thing is shocking to me still that someone is willing to lie cheat and steal for a product. I love knives, but I protect my integrity like it is one of my children. It is foreign to me to think that I would enjoy any product that reminded me that I am a lowlife scumbag.

I recently bought this knife from Dan..SIMPLY because I Love Farids work and I read this thread
NOW I am SOBER & "7 YEARS" today..and in reflection I have been very DISHONEST in the past..BUT what I know and have done today is to do the right thing..Be honest with folks and ..Treat people the way you would like too be treated--Change and turning things around can make you a better person and KEEP YOU SOBER..

I have EARNED my reputation in this forum for doing those things and I felt terrible for Farids lose.
Not Pity ..Just giving a bit BACK to people in this community.
People like this POS simply DOES NOT belong or have any RIGHT to be in this fantastic place we all call home "BLADE FORUMS"

Hoping the bit of $$ make things a bit better Farid...
And as for Dan--You sir are a Fantastic person....

Tim got in touch today, he said this, he said that. He said he is going to pay for it and it was a misunderstanding.
Bottom line, the picture is of the ‘first’ knife I built him, Not the replacement.
I no longer wish to spend time on this matter as I feel I am already becoming ‘ill’ from this before I even go to Nepal.
I like to thank you all for your time and personal thoughts on this and now I would like to put an end to this matter, if you all would please do the same I would greatly appreciate it.
God bless

Without in any way diminishing the class of the "seller," a thief never has title to property and so cannot pass on title to anyone.

If Tim intended to pay, he is not a thief, as such. Merely a crook - dishonest.

If he never intended to pay, he is a thief - larceny by trick.

Either way, someone to avoid, except by those who minister to the morally defective.

Merely semantics.

I'll go with *Dirtbag*...
