I haven't really looked for any aftermarket stocks yet. The model I bought came with a synthetic stock. The butt is hollow and is just begging for a kit. I've been too busy to make it a project yet other than a little inspection of what fits and what doesn't.
The stock I have in mind would be a loop type stock like the old STEN MkII. I want to make it with a cordura pouch laced into the void of the loop that would also hold the barrel and bolt of the gun when disassembled. I have a friend who does TIG welding and has all the bending jigs and such. The only part I'm missing is my "round tuit". Mac
STR, I am with you for the bolt action papoose, semi auto for a survival gun is counter intuitive, too much to go wrong, as well as too easy to waste ammo for inexperienced shooters.
