I agree. I just bought 2 CRKs Friday so I can't rush it.Since Josh’s last DLC I missed out on, I’ve really wanted to get a large inkosi w/scales fully DLC’d. That fully blacked out version looks so bad ass!
I just have to buy one now in time, then send to Josh. Now I don’t want any competition on the S45V’s in the CRK’s subs guys

Here’s one from his earlier batches, has a little bite from sharpening but otherwise it’s worked out well.
I may have to get this done on something. You can't even tell its been used. LOL Beautiful.
To be fair ... this knife is a couple years old but I JUST had the DLC done (got it yesterday) and it actually hasn't been used yet. The other Sparrow and Anso were done a while ago and have been used a lot but that's the great thing about REK DLC is you just wipe it down and good as new

how is the coating done with the inlays? Do you have to remove inlays? I have this exact blade and I would love this.

I have a Strider SMF in CPM20CV. Does anyone know it this will be ok to have the DLC coating process done to?

It should be ... I haven't done a Strider before but tempering on 20cv/m390/204p should be high enough that the DLC wouldn't impact it. Never hurts to reach out to Strider to confirm. I've done so with other makers on that exact question and they are usually responsive.
