DLC

I have never posted in the REK sub forums before but I have seen some pics of Knives with Josh's DLC coating. They look great! I am interested in sending in a couple knives. One is an Arno Bernard iMamba which has a polished RLW34 stainless blade. Would this blade be ok to have done? I do not see what temp they harden their blades to though. Also, can multiple knives be sent in at a time, maybe 2 or 3 (AB and Koenig)?

Also curious to see an iMamba done in blackwash, similar to some of the ZT BW offerings. Being new to this subforum, I am not sure what all Josh might offer, customizing wise. I think he would do the DLC, but not take it beyond that, correct? All of his work looks to be top notch though.

Probably late February... Trying to get a few things lined up first. Newsletter will go out soon announcing the deadline though 👍

Yeah you can send in multiple np, I have several customers that do this. I would check with mfg on the steel... I have 2 dlc's I use, a higher temp/more durable one (540f) and a lower temp dlc (350f) that's not quite as durable but opens up dlc for more steels.

Yep that's the higher temp dlc I offer, it's the best on the market.
