I actually HATE to be involved with anything like this, but then again, I hate rip-off artists as well.
The weird thing is - the feedback of this guy was good before, and he even sold other bits after - with good comments - BUT ...in this case hes been damned lousy - and with NO more communication - underlines that something is NOT right.
If I sent an item - but it never turned up to the buyer ( I doubt this was the case ) I would OF COURSE communicate and sort out something where all parties are happy etc.
I bought a Josh Mason very small fixed Blade off RIPtastic - who's real name folks is EVAN ERIKSEN.
I paid for the knife almost immediately 3rd July( I was traveling and DID let him know this ), but took a few days for me to send the address as we hit a spot where we were struggling with our overseas sims on our phones etc, BUT he got paid!!!
Well after a few weeks ( actually the 18th July ) - I was thinking - OK ...I am getting a bit worried now as I usually receive the knife way before this- BUT...I had him send it to my friends address who was in the U.S.A so it should have only taken 2 to 3 days.
After I pm'd this Evan Eriksen- on the 19th July, he apologised for lack of communication - he hadnt even sent it yet!!!!!!
I was pretty p'd off with this - but thought - ok...I dont know the situation - give a guy a chance . well it went on and on - he said it was all good and should send in a few days -in a few days I got a e-mail from him saying that he spotted a stain on the blade and if I wanted to back out of the sale I could ... ( starting to sound pretty sus yet?? )
I replied in a controlled manner and said exactly this " All good - please just send the knife"
22ND I answered his message that he found a stain etc, if I was ok with everything he would get it out to me first thing in the morning...
well...I received another pm from him stating he lost the address I supplied to him earlier -could I send it again....( he started off the conversation.... " sorry Duncan last message I promise" - well I give him this - he keeps a promise I'm telling you!
I answered- all good just send the knife to.... and then the address supplied.
23rd July - I answered "all good - and reminded him that on the 3rd of July I had sent him notice that I paid PayPal and also supplied address in the same pm.
After that I have not heard a thing, I have gone through PayPal and lodged a complaint - they asked me to write a letter through them so they could vet it and keep an eye on response - now sit down folks because I have a surprise for you...NO ANSWER.
3rd August Sent a pm telling him Im not impressed - do the right thing - or I will lodge a complaint with PayPal etc.
RIPtastic - your feedback was good until now - I just dont care what your p*#@ poor excuses are - be a man and do the right thing - at least refund the money or are you just another CON ARTIST?
I have been through Deaths in the family, been laid up in hospital - and still managed to communicate with people - let them know the situation - give a deadline of the next contact...so I really want to know your excuse.
I see he is logged onto the forums today, and I am expecting a story of - "but I sent it"... I want to see Track and Trace numbers proving this to the end-of line destination of the address that I supplied - (by the way of course I didnt receive any notification of any track and trace number).
Even if you DID send it- which you havent - there has been NO contact from you after you messaged me on the 22nd July- I suspect heavily you were trying to back out of the deal, NO CONTACT AT ALL after this - even when PayPal sent the resolution notification for his chance to answer.
Either way -extremely poor form, Here is the Thread concerned, I do have all communication kept aside from dealing with this "guy"....... EVAN ERIKSEN - do the right thing so I can amend this thread. Its NOT THE PRICE at issue here people - its PURE PRINCIPLE!
