Oh, I totally agree with you as I too have witnessed many like Evan skate through life with scamming and hurting others with no cares in the world. One in particular finally got what was coming, it was a great thing to see:thumbup:
I am long in the tooth and wondered how they seem to get by so long without any consequences, but in the end (wherever that is) they do get what's coming to them:thumbup:

1. If it sounds too good to be true, ... it is not true.
2. If this is YOUR LAST CHANCE, they are going fast, ... let it go.
3. If he needs Family & Friends, ... he's not your friend.
4. If you don't know anything about him, use Report Post and ask the Moderators.
This slime was all over the net, and been around the block on BFC as well.
We should have hung him from the yardarm months ago. No mercy!

I see that mqqn has been doing some detective work.....me too. The JD thing is recent too, so you guys that got scammed may want to keep an eye on that thread to see what comes of it.

Another shows a shipping label with his address as the sender. I couldn't quite make out the address, but once I found it on 411, I was able to tell that it was a match.

I just dropped this thread into a Public Message on Head-Fi.
I can add to the complaints, although on another forum. I am the guy who posted about the Fremont on JD.
I purchased a Fremont Jack from Evan Eriksen on July 18th on the Jerzee Devil forum. He replied that he was in Canada at that time but would ship as soon as he came back. Multiple PMs and emails since. No response. Obviously, it's not happening at this point.
However, I screwed myself on this one--he requested payment by F&F and I did it. Therefore, I have no recourse by PayPal or by my bank--I am simply out my $130. My own fault for sending friend and family. I'll never do that again, obviously.
All the above information checks out. Unfortunately I have no recourse at this point, but I wish those others who have more options the best of luck. Folks like Evan Eriksen are the scum of the earth. I appreciate the knife community for the gentlemanly way most folks conduct their business... and he is one of the few who is doing his best to ruin the good mojo.

This is far from the first time folks here have gone detective on a scammer, you'd think they'd learn not to cross BF. We look after our own.

You guys are making me want to go back and look at my Paypal transactions to see if anything fishy went on with this dude. I remember dealing with him and as far as I know, I got my money ok.
And to the OP, I hate that I have my name attached to this deal, and I'm sorry.

My take is that the guy seems to do legit business for a while, enough to accumulate some good feedback, and then rips a whole bunch of people off at once.
He then makes a new handle and repeats. Not sure if he changes email, etc. as well. But he's been doing this for a while.
Be careful admitting to paypal that you are violating their TOS. I would likely just consider it a lesson learned.

I received a e-mail from Evan the other night apologising after obviously reading this- and has promised to send the knife - I wont hold my breath - but will do the righ thing by notifying everyone here of the outcome either way.
