Do people try to remove your knives from your pocket without asking?

No one has ever dared to snatch out my knife from my pocket. Although, no matter whether I am wearing the pants or not my fiancée often removes the money from my pockets and not because my pants are going to the washing machine.

There are rare times this is allowed- chiefly because they need one, asked for it, and my hands are busy. The list of those allowed to do so is very short indeed.

NEVER. But that doesn't mean that I'm not vigilant of it happening. I don't like some one too near me especially if he looks like the type of person that would do such a thing. If I am in a crowd I'll just slip my knife down in my pocket where they can't see the clip.
As for violence I wont start it, but if I am being attacked, then I'll do whatever it takes to shut you down.
I'm 6'3" tall so most people don't mess with me.

holy crap you're weird.
Isn't that the truth. I admit that I'd probably be more serious and no-nonsense if I had a USP compact tactical with suppressor, full tac team running point, and a HALO III. Hey, I'd buy the jack sack, pocket scope, and benchmade on my own! Any contributions to the non weird fund are appreciated...

Never had it happen to a knife because I hate clips.
Did have it happen once when a person went for my glasses and the automatic reactions of many years of martial arts resulted in their severely twisted and painful wrist BEFORE I even had a chance to think.
I suspect that a grab that close to my genitals would get a similar response.
When self protection is needed, having to think first means you may well be thinking lying on your back or in a hospital bed.

It only happened to me once, but a friend took the bali i carry for flipping out my back pocket and I, not knowing it was him, imediatly turned around with my stiletto drawn. It hasn't happened since.

will someone please explain a wave to me, thanks.

Never happened to me so I don't know how I'd react? I think that would be very similar to stealing my wallet. I will not let anyone steal my wallet so I would say I will not let anyone steal my knife. That's what we are talking about. Theft. :barf:

My brother in law has snatched my necker from it's sheath before but never a total stranger and of course i always carry a gun so if someone i didn't know grabbed my knife my natural instincts would have them at gunpoint before they realized they succeeded in taking my knife.

If it was a stranger trying to get things from my pocket, I'd call it an assault.

If it was a friend or co-worker trying to get things from my pocket. I'd grab their hand and hold it in my pocket, thrust my pelvis and scream, "YES! YES! YOU'RE SO GOOD! YES!"
Eventually, they'll recoil their hand in horror and not do it again. Nor will they ever be able to get memory out of their head.

HOLY SHIET!! that is the funniest thing i have heard in a while hahaha. but for me, no it has never happened, but i am a 6'3 220lb guy. who would want to piss me off like that:eek:

yes, yesterday after special opendoor mma training session
i had my birdie lark clipped in my back pocket

two times they tried!!

i was vigilant enough not to let them grab it

but twice they started a speech why i had to have a weapon like that with me
i told them it wasnt a weapon but a knife
just the idea that a knife wasnt a weapon seemed odd to them
so then i asked if they normaly eat with fork and weapon then

that kinda ended the conversation, but not the sheeple disapproving looks

now i carry it clipped inside my pants, toward the front

the clip hiding behind a belt

and normally also under a t-shirt

Is it just me, or do other people have problems with people getting too "child in a museum" over their knives?

When I worked security, one of my dumb-ass co-workers tried pulling the knife out of my pocket; wrist lock to the rescue!:)
Anyone trying that crap NEEDS a wrist lock so they don't do it again.

The people that I associate with have respect for me, and therefore would NOT go grabbing a knife or anything else off my person.
