Do you also carry fixed blades around the house?

Not on my person, but yes one close by. Usually it’s a Big Chris, CPK or one from Robert Erickson. I find them just as gorgeous as my folders. Sometimes, even at the house, a fixed blade is a better choice.

The knives I carry around the house are the same ones I carry outside.

If I have a fixed blade I don't undo my belt and check it in at the door like some kind of lending library. And vice versa.

Just keep it buried in the corpses of your enemies when you’re not using it. It seems like a lot of folks around here just make a corpse and never use it for anything.

I keep a Mora Number One in my primary has a seat Rollator's tote/shopping bag. (I need to rest and let pan in hips, knees and back receed after walking a 1/4 mile or less), and a Cold Steel Finn Bear in my backup no seat Rollator's bag. Does that count?

I will use a few Bark Rivers and Hultafors's to process fish and poultry in the yard, otherwise I carry folders.

But the further away from home I am, the tougher the gear I carry. That is when I will have full tang fixed blades in a tough steel on me, and when "one is none".

Sound logic right there. The further away from home, the more you want your gear to not break at the worst possible time. :D

Absolutely, all the time. Here I was modeling these chinks (short chaps) before sending them off to the customer:

Good gun, not a small gun, but a wonderful shooting piece. One of mine has 101,500 rounds through it. Sadly, it just sits on a shelf now. I have another one, but that first one is special to me.

I love it! Mine is a G21sf Gen.3. I bought it brand new at Bass Pro Shops. A lot of people don't like the Gen.3, but I love it. The finger grooves fit my hands perfectly. My hands are near the bottom of large size. So large Nitrile gloves fit me a little loose while medium fit me pretty snug. I want to get a G20 10mm next.

Occasionally I carry a small fixed blade around the house. It has to be 7" max. with sheath so it fits in my pants pocket. I have a Spyderco Mule at my desk and I use it occasionally.
