Do you also carry fixed blades around the house?

Dave....NOBODY does great pics to equal yours. I can add leather and specialized working fixed blades to that list, of course.
I had a major stroke in May, so will not be able to come out to break broncos for you as previously planned.
Don
Thank you sir! Sure sorry to hear that! I hope the recovery is going as well as could be? While not the house it is our office:

I was letting Nichole borrow my horse for part of our works a couple of weekends ago. After three years of trying her good mare is finally pregnant and so is wrapped in bubble wrap. My filly Lil Sis is getting pretty darn broke. Never any buck in her but twice she turned faster than I was riding. Same result, splat. She's handy:

I am envious of your "office" and the views from your "desk"

I don't carry big blades around the house. I leave them laying all over the place. I have a 14" machete by the bed. Another is within arm's reach by my computer desk along with a long-handled 12" or so bladed Thai farmer machete. There's a 7" Hmong knife on the coffee table. The next unfinished rooms over the garage probably have 50 or more machetes kicking around and probably that many more down in the garage. Heck, I have over 60 hammers at hand. (They are handy because you don't have to sharpen them and they leave less blood on the carpet if you have to use them.)

The downside is if we have visitors with little kids. Have to secure the knives and the hammers. My younger son once found a ball pein hammer in the car and proceeded to take out the front windshield. Kids !!!

Yeah, I’d recommend storing them in a discreet place, lol.

Waiting on a sheath for my newly acquired S90V Saddle Mountain Skinner. I want to start carrying it around and giving it a shot doing yard work. Been doing a lot of it with my BK16, but variety is the spice of life!
