Do you carry a fixed blade attached to your pack? How?

Stingray,

You have essentially made a dangler out of that caribiner - this is why I have them on my knives - get them out of the way of my pack straps.

Rick,

Is that an Outcast in that nice leather?

Joe

I sometimes carry my M95 Sissipuukko on the left shoulder strap of my pack.Handle down. But I prefer to have my knife on the belt. :)

What knife is that? And if it is a Busse, please describe it with words, not letters, I don't know all the abbreviations.

Marion

Sorry, I should have described the knife, I was just trying to show the attachment.

It is a Busse Military Overrun HG55 blade (length 5.75" thickness .250"). They have a desert shadow camo finish. It has a beefed up convex cutting bevel edge near the point.

Hope this helps,
BBT

Thanks bud, it is different from the ones available on the site, but it doesn't matter, as I won't be able to buy one...

But, they do make some interesting stuff.

A member of Bushcraft UK (Rapidboy) makes this versatile system which may be worn underarm, waistband - horizontal or vertical, shoulder strap - inverted or vertical, and will accept Malice Clips and small Tek-Loks to fit Molle webbing.

It can be used with or without the Firesteel and also carries as a neck knife.

One of the benefits of the modular system is that different makes and models of knife fit the system, only the sheaths vary. I love mine, which fits the Mora Clipper and Craftline.

This is how I always carry on pack. This picture shows a Busse Battle Mistress on the side and a Game Warden on the front. I currently carry a RAT5 strapped on the side and a folder on the front. The pack balances out right this way, when I have a water bottle on the other side.
