• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Hey TF, where did you get those? They are cool.

I EDC a BSA hot spark and one of my strikers under a piece of rubber on my PSK kydex sheath.

I EDC a peanut lighter. I check it often, usually each time I fire up the grill. But it doesn't loose any fuel, and I rarely use it. For most things that I've need it for, a firesteel wouldn't have worked.

But I "EDC" one when I'm doing anything hiking related.

I have a really tiny firesteel that I made on my keychain but I carry a lighter. Alot handier for lighting candles, melting the ends of rope, etc.

Confirmed firebug here. BSA Hot Spark and Peanut Lighter on keys. Mini (Hoods Woods) ferro rod in my wallet.

I have the LMF Mini firesteel which is a lot smaller than the scout and a peanut lighter. Like naked said, mine never seems to need refilling. I check everyday and it always gives a flame.

I carry this every day.

Thats the army model and a spyderco manix up on top of the tundra above the snowline in the rocky mountains.

I carry a bare rod (big one 10x100mm) attached to my Leathermans pouch with rubber bands (cut outs from a bicicle inner tube). I just carry it for the hell of it... no need for it in the city. I just have it there along with a scrapper (leftover from a hacksaw). I usually carry a ligther as well but I am not a smoker and I had to rely on the ferro rod like twice because I needed fire and somehow forgot my ligther at home.

Cool to have but not really needed in my envyroment.

I have a Scout model that stays in my Leatherman pouch. It has actually come in handy more than once, surprisingly not for making an emergency fire, but for lighting a cigarette when there was no lighter present and no way to get one. :D

I have a BSA Hot Spark attached to my Leatherman, and the Leatherman is always attached to my left front pocket.

(that's the olnly pic I have of the combo)

At the very least, a BSA hotspark and a mini-bic. My Fox River with Army-sized LMF in the Ferro loop is always close by. I don't travel without it in my car.
