Hey guys, I was just wondering if any of you edc a flashlight. Ive been edc ing a streamlight microstream. Ive recently got tired of giving my flashlight to Jennifer every night she takes the dogs out in the yard so I've decided to give her the microstream, and I get something new:) I'm getting a Jetbeam ba-10 Cree r5 edc flashlight 1x AA-160 lumens.

I wish I knew how to post pictures on here :/ Anyways, let me know what you carry, if anything at all.

yep, fenix ld15, (don't like the twisty but haven't found a clicky to match it yet)

Surefire Backup. Every day since they came out. Before that was an old E2D pocket ripper.

Once you have a light, you'll never know how you got by without it.

Hi Jeff -

I keep one in my truck and have a few scattered around the house and garage - but I don't carry one on-person.

I have a Thor 10m CP unit though. Works good in the back yard - looks like a barge light from 1/4 mile away.

I frequented the candlepower forums long before I found this forum.

Fenix E11 or a little Pelican light. The Fenix takes one AA battery for over a 100 lumens, less expensive to feed than my Surefires and big Fenix 300 lumen light, and the Pelican takes an AAA battery, and puts out a 40 lumen light. I had a small Fenix that took CR123A batteries, but I must've lost it in my accident.

Yes a Mini 123 loose in my pocket. I keep a Petzl headlamp in the car for night time tire changes.

I don't but if I did I'd carry one like this.

Fenix LD15 also. I'm very happy with it. Now I have to buy one for the wife

I carry a green LED Streamlight Stylus pro for when we're In transit at night.

Are there any good ones, reasonably priced, that use AA or AAA batteries?
Maratac from countycomm.com.
I have 3 of their AAAs,great little lights.
ITP makes one very similar to the Maratacs also, but I like the Maratacs.
They come with a clip that can be reversed so you can clip it to the brim of your hat.
I used one a few weeks ago to change a flat tire I got when I was heading up to watch the Perseids Meteor shower.
Great little lights, not the brightest, but good enough to find your way in the dark.

Yup. Every day. I got one from Brookstone and it rivals my Fenix for power and life of AA battery. Much cheaper too!
