Do you have a carry rotation?

I was wondering if people here have a carry rotation for their knives or if you carry the same one every day?
 
I do have an EDC rotation. It's displayed in my sig line, below. Today, I'm carrying the RAT 1, but I rotate thru those on the list, and occasionally I will even carry something else, either as a test for a new acquisition, or for a specific purpose (camping, for example).

I have a few "outliers" as well, such as a PM2, a RealSteel H6, ZT 0550 and a Kizlyar UTE that I carry once in a while.

Every day the same boring nasty ole knife. It's a good thing I love it...
 
I don't EDC anything, because I don't carry the same knife Every Day. I'll go from a SOG Auto TAC to a Boker canoe to a Buck 110, etc. whatever flips my lid that day.

Both.

I carry the same Emerson in my front pocket every single day.

When I carry a second folder those rotate. Today was a HK Axis in my back pocket.
 
My Alan Davis custom is my top edc. I have been clipping on a Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter a few times since I got it and do carry others once in awhile but my Alan Davis is the main one 😊👍 Kevin
 
I carry the same two knives all day, every day: Cold Steel Lucky One folder & Urban Pal fixed. That said, occasionally I will augment those two, either because I know I will need something different, or just because I feel like carrying my 4" Ti-Lite.
 
I have very few folders these days, but its usually my Manix 2 with CTS-XHP and Sketchen Ironwood scales, PM2, and Southern Grind Spider Monkey.

Once in a while I'll throw in either my Kizer 423, Brous Bionic, or Three Sisters Forge Beast. I prefer lightweight knives in general, but especially in the summer. My Spyderco GB is on its way to be sharpened, but will resume duty in the fall. My Dragonfly ZDP-189 is AWOL, but is my workout shorts knife.
 
I used to have a more defined rotation where a few certain ones accounted for most of my usage, but others would go in and out. When I was doing that, I would swap out as frequently as daily. Now, it's a less defined rotation, and I don't swap out nearly as often as I used to (maybe weekly, if not longer).
 
No, I do not rotate my carry knives.

I carry a Buck 113 on a daily basis in my fanny pack.

I will 'open carry' a Buck 119 Special sometimes too.

I have a small selection of main EDC knives and a small selection of back up EDC knives. I generally rotate through them. I have 3 CRK, a ADV Buctcher, and SAK Rescue edition I rotate through for my mains. Backup is usually the same SAK black Alox. The Large21 tanto w/micarta and large Insingo tend to be my main go to main EDC knives. Same goes for my pens and my flashlights. A small selection I tend to rotate through in no general order.

I dont like to keep safe queens. So if I am not putting the knife in my rotation I wont buy it. Sebenza's are full of snail trails and I love it.

Anyone wondering why I always keep a smaller backup: People know I have a knife. When I get asked to borrow one, they can use the $40 knife I have and not the $400 one I have on hand.
 
My Pro-Tech TR-5 is normally my main EDC but I'll switch it up between that and my SOG Trident.
 
My Sog Trident frequently but for woods hikes usually my Puma Skinner, Gerber Strongarm, and my Buck CSAR which is one tough blade.
 
I lied to have some kind of a rotation, even if it is not clearly defined.
I usually carry one knife for one week or so and then change for another.
I don't like to change knife on every day, it doesn't make sense to me.
I prefer to keep one knife for some time in order to "warm up" to it, to "connect" with it.
When I had enough feelings with it, I move to another one and so on.

At the moment I carry my ZT0550, but before it I had my 0801 for almost 3 weeks.... and at the moment I am thinking to move to my mini griptilian...
 
Why yes I rotate my ECD by the week or the day according to what going on or my mood.

I open up my knife drawer every morning and just grab what appeals to me that day. Sometimes it's the same knife for a few days in a row to a week and sometimes is a different knife everyday. That being said, I have certain knives I carry during the day at work and some lighter smaller knives I carry when wearing shorts after work or on the weekends.
 
Both. I have one knife I always carry (SAK alox cadet). I will carry a second knife frequently, depending on mood or expected needs. In the #2 slot, I may carry the same one for weeks or months, or I may change it up more frequently. Today it's a Case Peanut.
