Great platform in 5.56.

Even better in 300blk.

And .300blk is even better SBR'd with a .30 suppressor and sub-sonic 208gr Amax's. I also have a 110gr Vmax load that knocks the shit out of coyotes. I got a 9in AAC .300blk upper when they first came out. With subs it's not much louder than my suppressed .22 with subs.

I love the AR for the simple reason of someone can pick it up and shoot effectively in minutes and it only gets better from there. I have to give the AK its due but I've found you can make a AR just as reliable and it will still be more accurate and versatile with less work. all in all I wanna get my hands on a mk16 and play with that at the range for a bit.
