Do you name your knives?

Just curious if anyone here gives their knives names. If so, what are they?

Personally, I don't give them names other than what the maker designates them as.

The knives I make generally get named but not always. Usually the name has more to do with the person I am making the knife for. I recently made a folder with Abalone inserts for a subsea Engineer that I named the Reef Shark. I knew she would immediately know what the name meant. More her than the knife.

As to the question at hand; I refer to my Spartan Harsey Vitruvian Man as the Da Vinci Knife. I'm not terribly creative.

No but I do occasionally refer to them as she/her which makes no sense since they’re obviously more phallic then feminine.
