Hey guys, I hope im not the only one with a knife problem. I cant fall asleep if i dont have my knife next to my pillow. Is anybody esle like that or do i need counseling:p My LT. told me i was sick:D Maybe...

Not as a matter of necessity. My EDC knife is usually on the bedside table with the rest of my pocket contents, but I won't have trouble sleeping if it's not there.

Pocket knife is usually in my pocket, pistol is on the night stand, I would never take a knife to a gun fight

I have a leek in my pocket every night. just in case I have to cut some string at 3AM. Yeah, thats it.

I prefer something that goes bang for self/ home defense.

but i also keep a kabar 1211 on my night stand next to my Glock

We have an assault rifles 20 feet from our barracks and sub machine guns 10 feet from our barracks. ROK's always prepared. Me too dont bring a knife to a gun fight, but i just love blades :p

Coincidentally, I have a small table next to my bed where my knives are when not in my pocket, but it's not a sleep necessity thing. I did keep my Nighthawk next to my bed when I lived in a poorer area where my room broke city code by entering directly outside.

My crkt hisshou rocks me to sleep most nights...

Just kidding. It does reside on the bedside table along with a 4 sevens quark 1232 turbo X flashlight; 450 lumens ftw.

I don't have any heaters, so this will have to do for now. :grumpy:

I've got my Oberst sword/machete on the nightstand. :)

Always bring a knife to a gun fight. Just have a gun too. Glock 20 10mm 165 grain double taps. Surefire light, and a couple blades. Dog and alarm system. I got the basics down at least.

I actually have a Smith & Wesson HRT fixed-blade hooked to the post of my bed's headboard, but I also have a Ruger Police Service-Six .357 magnum in the drawer of my nightstand, loaded with 158 grain Federal Hydra-Shocks.

I sleep next to it, because my daily carry items are in a little tin box I recycled, and it sits on my night table. I do have a Beretta 92A1 in my drawer though!

Roll off the bed to the floor - right next to the 20 gauge just underneath the "dust ruffle" as the wife calls it.
