Do you sleep with your knife?

I cant fall asleep if i dont have my knife next to my pillow.

My folder's within reach, clipped to my pants laying on the chair. I keep my couple fixed blades under the bed in a container, too, and I have two or three other folders in my dresser drawer as well. If it really comes down to it (which it never will), I have two 12-inch bayonets on the wall.

None of those are specifically for self defense, it's just how I store them.

Remington 870 w/ 00 Buck beside the nightstand
Glock 17 w/ 2 magazines in the nightstand
Kershaw Blur Tanto on the nightstand
Fenix TK12 on the nightstand
Nitecore PD10 on the nightstand

I can't sleep unless my Sig P229 is on my night stand. Some times I look over and its not there. I say to the wife "where is my gun?" She says "Bobby stop losing your guns." I hate her dumb logical responses that dont answer my question. But ya need a gun to sleep and a knife to leave the house.

unfortunately i do sleep with a knife in the bed.

i keep my pocket contents on my dresser, a light my zt 0300 on the nightstand.

a gerber lmf ll in sheath in the bed, along with my dog. i have no children in house so i have a few guns throughout the house including my glock 17 under the nightstand draw area mounted with a few wood tabs and all it takes to remove it is a hand on the weapon and turn it a inch in either direction and the tabs won't support it and let it go free.

Benchmade 551 SBKSN on my nightstand, 12 Gauge near my bed, tomahawk on the other side, and a sheathed CRKT Dragon sticking out from under my mattress and various other weapons / Firearms in my safe, I sleep in an armory pretty much.

No, I sleep without clothes, so nowhere comfortable to clip or carry it. I have never needed to use a knife in my sleep, and it sounds like an accident waiting to happen. Knives are in the same room if I wake and need one.

I don't sleep with a Leek, but sometimes I wake to take one.

I am not metro-sexual,so yes. I sleep in shorts with pockets. Right pocket,Buck 309 "Companion". Left pocket, single AA battery pocket light. If my house blows away (Kansas) or catches on fire, and i have to run from the house, the firemen wont be intimidated by my manhood (not nude). I will have tools. regards Henry

I have two on my nightstand and one between the mattress and box spring and a sword within one step as well as 3 firearms...but I ain't paranoid or any thing.

Glock 22 and the folder I will be carrying the next day on the nightstand next to me. Pistol grip .410 bore resting on the wall between the bed and the nightstand.

If the spirit in the house is unusually active; I sleep with one under my pillow and one stuck in the top of the door jam. It's an ancient superstition that seems to work.

I've fallen asleep with my Izula in the pocket of my lounge pants many a time.

I keep a knife and a flashlight on the nightstand next to me. While a number of people keep a gun close by, I always recommend a good, grade 1 deadbolt with a strike box. A 5th of the price of a pistol, plus if properly installed, SWAT themselves would have a hard time kicking your door down.
