Do you stick with carrying one knife for long every day?

No......never!
I choose 2 every day for work. Get home and switch them out for 2 different ones.....dog walking knives that are large and fun flickers!
I really like having choices.

I've carried my benchmade grizzly creek every day since I got it in June. Before that I carried my relics almost every day for almost a year and a half.

Delica Hap40 and Military M4 will be the only I carry for awhile. Ive gone through about 30-50 knives over the years to come to this conclusion. Now I’m trying to spend my time feeling content. Though I’ll have an eye on a new fixed blade in the year to come. BRKT wilderness explorer has my name all over it.

I've carried the same knife for a week at most. It's just too much fun to rotate between them, and I don't have a repetitive task that would need the same performance out of a blade.

I tend to be rather loyal to my knives. Once I get comfortable with a knife, I stick with it for long periods of time that exceed 8 months. Years are a better time reference. But I tried to like and carried a GEC #71 Bull Nose for a couple months and parked it. Most everyone that likes traditionals love this knife. Well...it boils down to I like a pointer knife blade for piercing things like bubble packs and store packaging (like batteries) and this one just didn't cut the mustard consistently. Also tried to carry a small Hen & Rooster stockman (3.1" closed) and just prefer a larger knife. It got parked, but I will likely eventually wander back to what I consider really small knives in the future as that seems to be the trend. So, I have a number in waiting for that day. :D Have yet to figure out why folks really like the tiny Vic Classic. It works if you never really cut anything often. I consider the Delica just about the perfect size for regular carry and use it as a model when choosing new purchases. Hence the Benchmade Mini Barrage (assisted opener) and Steel Will Cutjack (flipper) got selected in the last couple of months/years.

Vic Classic..... key chain knife, okay. But I visit court houses far too often and it's a pain to be always removing a knife from my keys that I would never use.

For about 25yrs I rotated between a Kabar USMC for work and a Canoe for non work.

Around 2000/2001 a friend introduced me to the Spyderco Police SS. It joined the USMC and Canoe.

Around 2009 I gifted my USMC to my nephew and retired the Canoe which were replaced by a RAT Cutlery RC6 and Spyderco Rookie G10, joining the PoPo.

Then Nutnfancy introduced me to the 940 and I went bad.
I now rotate 9 folders and the fixed blades are relegated to camping/hunting.

I enjoy choosing.

from about 2005, until just recently, I carried a buck mayo cutback as my everyday knife. I'd also grab another knife, if it was going to be needed for the day, such as camping, or hunting...but still had the cutback.

it needed some TLC, and I couldnt pass up the deals on the kershaw injections - so the 3.5 is now my EDC. unless it completely falls short on something or another, ti will be my daily carry for while

Maybe because I'm really particular but I find it very hard to just like a knife to the point where I carry the same one every day for 1,2,6,8+ months or whatever. Do you do that? Is there a knife you are just so satisfied with that you're done searching for the perfect one and all the others you own just stay at home?
Do you do that?
- I have done that, during various periods and for different reasons. Recently, no. I have a fairly small number of knives that I pick from when I want to carry a knife that day.

Is there a knife you are just so satisfied with that you're done searching for the perfect one and all the others you own just stay at home?

- I am done searching, but not because I have found a perfect one, but because I have enough for anything I might need.

Me too, but it doesn't stop me from buying something new. You must be getting old and set in your ways.;)

Out of what I have I tend to carry just 3 certain folders more than I do the others. Some times it's because of what I have planned, the type of mood I'm in, or even the weather haha.

If I needed to I could probably choose one for the year.. Though, I wouldn't want to do that.

Some days I match my knife to my watch. Some days I pick my knife first. Then I dress around the hardware.

For ten years i carried only one because i had only one. then i purchased a delica and began to admire its simplicity and practicality that i began owning more than one knife for the first time. now i have the 940-1 and it has kicked everything out of my pocket. it is hard to grab anything else when it is so light and pocket friendly and so useful. i just bought the benchmade valet while my 940-1 is having its axis lock repaired; its like a smaller size 940. so when my 940 returns ill see if it will displace the valet in use. that valet is just so sleek and beautiful.

I carried a delica wave for 5 years straight, it was the only knife I owned and then I bought a bm42...and then...I couldn't stop buying knives. Now a days on average 3/7 days ill have a dragonfly on me either alone or in combination with a second knife.

I've had the same Victorinox Executive in my right front pocket every day since around 1999. And for a good while the same Alox Pioneer in my left cargo pocket. I don't get bored with these knives, because they serve the purposes I use them for. So no matter what else I might carry, these two are constants.

As for my one-hand-opening, pocket-clipped knives, I've been mostly carrying the same large CRK Insingo. However, I recently purchased a David Boye pointed-tip folding boat knife, so for my one-hander, I've been carrying that instead of the Insingo, to get an overall feel for it. Sometimes I also switch out the Insingo for one of my Spydercos.

With me, it all depends on my main activities during a time period, or it's a seasonal matter. My default always includes a 5th pocket carry, alternating between a Vic Manager for ordinary out and about, and when I'm busy with hardware involved projects, a Leatherman Micra, either of them attached to a micro light. That can last weeks or months for either. The Micra is great for small mechanical or fixit projects, and sometimes larger ones. For example, it's what I use to install or remove our window air conditioners.

This is the knife I am currently carrying, replacing the Delica 4 that had been my constant companion the last 4 months, and which had been in my pocket the previous 4 months. Sometimes I carry something else as a change-up, but these are my long term users, anywhere up to a year.

I have had the same Swiss Army Knife on my belt almost every day for 4.5 years now. The only time I don't have it is when I'm experimenting with other things for the fun of it. I rotate my main carry almost daily however. My main carry since I got it in June of 2015 has been my Emerson Horseman. I finally got my first Sebenza, and when I get the issues sorted out I will likely carry that as my main blade for the foreseeable future.

This is my truly EDC gear (plus a phone but it was taking the photo) unless I’m on a plane or somewhere else prohibitive. The Victorinox Mini Champ and Chris Reeve small Inkosi are always on me. I also always have at least one larger folder, maybe a small fixed blade, and a watch but those items rotate. I did just get a small Inkosi with micarta inlays that might bump this Inkosi but it hasn’t yet. Regardless, it’s an Inkosi that I carry everyday.
