Do you stick with carrying one knife for long every day?

Much to my surprise my Benchmade Griptillian has taken over as my large locking folder edc. It's been nearly constant for at least four months. I always carry a sak but which one changes sometimes. I also tend to carry a traditional slip joint and that one changes every week or two.

Well my main right pocket EDC usually my Protech or my Link depending on how I feel and a small backup CA legal OTF also.

i just bought the benchmade valet while my 940-1 is having its axis lock repaired; its like a smaller size 940. so when my 940 returns ill see if it will displace the valet in use.
Had this exact same experience. Carried a 940 for a full year and never gave a second thought to my daily carry. I broke the omega springs (carried it on the beach and in the ocean- corrosion) and while it's with Benchmade I bought a Spydeco Gayle Bradley 1. Now that my much loved 940 is back I'm missing the GB clack after just one day!

I usually change knives between day and night. I do have a knife that I could do it with(if I didn't feel bad for the others sitting in their drawer)-my Sm. Classic MM Micarta Sebenza. I carry it every day, but rotate others in at night-more to justify their ownership then anything else.

For a while I was changing out my EDC daily. Lately, one of these three have been hanging out in my pocket for a week or two at a time.

The 940-2 epitomizes a "pocket and forget it" EDC. I think so highly of the Southard and the 'Zaan that it's hard to put them away once they're out.

I'll still trade out for a task-specific knife along the way when appropriate. If I'm dressing up, my ZT 0460 usually comes along. You might tease me about it being a fashion accessory. But yeah, it's a bad-a$$ fashion accessory IMO. ;)

I've got an old Victorinox Huntsman that I've had for 29 years, since I was 10. Carry that every day. Recently added an Esee Izula II to my EDC, and the "main blade" has recently been an XM-24. Sometimes I carry the (much) lighter ProTech TR-3 SWAT auto or a big old Schatt Morgan folding hunter in a buffalo leather slip.

I rotate depending upon what I'm doing. I'll carry a zt 0350 at work. An endura ffg when wanting light weight and a xm18 spanto all the other time. Different tools for different situations.

There’s never a knife that I’m so happy with that I stop searching for any others. But I have gone a month or two carrying the same knife. Usually it’s right after I first get it, and I carry it until the “newness” wears off.

This.^^^ Also what I carry depends on my mood, or how I'm feeling that day. But......I usually go back to my Adamas at some point because the ergos are just perfect for me.
Edit: I did carry a ZT 0200 every day for more than 10 years until retiring it about 2 years ago

I carry my Benchmade Bugout on days I don't work, and I carry Benchmade Griptilian on days I do work. Don't see that changing any time soon

All jokin' aside I feel the op deserves an honest answer and that answer is yes.

I'm even feelin' generous so I'll tell you which knife and provide a pic too. You know what I'm gonna make you guess between 4 knives that are usually always with me.

Victorinox Alex Money clip

Victorinox Minichamp

Lone Wolf/Loveless City Knife

Small plain Jane Sebenza 21

I do have 1 knife that is with me 24/7 the only time I don't have it is for surgery, x-rays or MRIs. ;)

If you wanna see which knife it is...

With me, it all depends on my main activities during a time period, or it's a seasonal matter. My default always includes a 5th pocket carry, and that depends on my main activities during that period. That rotates between a Vic Manager for ordinary out and about, and when I'm busy with hardware involved projects, a Leatherman Micra, either of them attached to a micro light. That can last weeks or months for either. The Micra is great for small mechanical or fixit projects, and sometimes larger ones. For example, it's what I use to install or remove our window air conditioners.

This is the knife I am currently carrying, replacing the Delica 4 that had been my constant companion the last 4 months, and which had been in my pocket the previous 4 months. Sometimes I carry something else as a change-up, but these are my long term users, anywhere up to a year.

Ah yes, the Buck Vantage. I really have to start carrying that more often.

I don't even carry the same knife, all day long. I mostly switch between 2 or 3 different ones depending on what I'm doing.

Yes - my para 3 and para 3 only. Used to be a small 21, but I got tired of it. In hopes of rekindling the love - I sent it in for the spa treatment. No such luck - planning on selling it now. I do like my Spyderco dice, but really only carry the para 3.

I've been carrying the same fixed blade literally every day (Literally!) for about a year. I'm sure I'll find something to takes its place one day, but that's only speculation.

Today it's a Vic Farmer & Spyderco GB2 . Cut up the fix'ns for a big pot of chicken soup tonight with the GB2. :)
