Doc-Canada is right, Baldrics are good.

I used to carry my utility blade on the strap of my possibles bag. Worked really well.

These are some nice rigs I'm seeing, I may have to put another one together with a small possibles bag on it.

Jamie, when you get it be sure to post copious pics of it all together and it being worn. It looks like a good way to carry a big chopper or a smalle blade for that matter. I'll have to see if I have some unused leather around here to toy with if I get some free time. :D

Sure.

If it works out, I'll find ways to attach smaller knives to either the chopper or the baldric. That should be very useful.

Darbyfett,

Ilbruche made the whole rig, sheath, baldric, and pouch...

Old Physics,

I was trying to copy Doc-Canada's baldric, so I asked Ilbruche to put an attachment point on the front of my strap, works well...

Another good idea ... :D

Now this baldric idea is something I'm going to try. As a kid, I used to roam the woods with my things in an over-the shoulder military surplus gasmask bag of some kind, and I'd often tie my knife sheath to the strap. I may have to revisit this. . .
