Thanks for the pics, everyone!
The military collection is very nice and so is the black-bladed military. The pic of the MBCers is very cool, too!

Oni-your Harpy is still in production, only now with different blade steel than before (now VG-10). If yours has the spring clearly showing crossing-through the vent hole, it is a fairly early model. I don't know if a collector would want to give you what it's probably worth in sentimental value, though.

Wow!...you guys have a great Forum here :).., really nice of you guys to post all those pictures. I hang out with the nuts in the Balisong Forum...lol..., but like everyone I've had a bazillion Spydies' :p

You guys have some great collections.., and thanks so much for posting some of the cool stuff., I'll have to drop around more often..

But I found this pic on the web somewhere. Maybe someone knows more about this knife?:

Ah ha!! The super-rare double bladed Civilian.
That one could have done a number on TTO! !

Seriously though, that knife is awesome. I think there's only one ever made.

Thanks for the reply. Don't plan on selling my old Harpy. It has served me well, and continues to be one of my favorite knives, as well as one of my oldest. Just thought if it was worth any $$$, maybe it should come out of my cargo pocket and stay at home. It is one of the early ones. It is the first Spyderco I saw at a cutlery shop maybe around 20 years ago?

I'm 99.9% sure that that knife was never ever made. It was a picture made in a program like Photoshop or something.:)

But that .1% does leave room for me to be wrong :p

Phil Gibbs, the moderator of the Camillus Forum is the creator of the Bi-wing Civi. Custom constructed using Spyderco blades as I remember.

Yup, good thing you left that .1% possibility. ;) Here's confirmation of it's existence from Sal. IIRC, it's now owned by Paul Tausic, one of the NY Custom Knife Show producers.
