Does anyone know a story of this damaged Busse SAR 4?

Ok, I have corrected! :)

Thank you!
BTW, I love this shot that captured the sparks...

Very cool! :)

So you broke the Dingo by repeated chops into the edge of the Busse?

I think you should get another pair of the same knives and reverse the positions, chop the Busse into a Dingo.

I am certain that the outcome would be different. The same goes for that little hammer test--if you hammer the pommel of the winning knife tip down into stone, then yes, it will flatten the tip. BUT...if you reversed it so that it was tip up and you were trying to hammer the tip directly with the pommel against the stone...well, I would bet anything that the tip of that knife could easily destroy that hammer before getting damaged at all. No, really, you should try it and let us know.

After seeing the Noss destruction videos, I highly doubt that the Busse would break by chopping into the Dingo.

Where was this found online? We haven't heard anything about it, so it was obviously intentional but how and why are what I want to know.

It is obvious that it was not a knife edge to knife edge test unless the other knife had a ball bearing shaped .090" thick edge.. . . .

Jerry

.

It appears that it was an edge to edge test! So the other knife basically had to crumple to make those wide marks in the INFI. Not to mention break.....

Glad I looked back at this thread.

I would be sad if either of those knives were mine. But it makes for great pics, and demo of knife toughness.

....Эх, распиздяи....

We beat knifes both so, and so(in any different positions)

And dingo has broken from the blow "the butt about a butt":)
