Where was this found online? We haven't heard anything about it, so it was obviously intentional but how and why are what I want to know.
It is obvious that it was not a knife edge to knife edge test unless the other knife had a ball bearing shaped .090" thick edge.. . . .

i am certain that the outcome would be different. The same goes for that little hammer test--if you hammer the pommel of the winning knife tip down into stone, then yes, it will flatten the tip. But...if you reversed it so that it was tip up and you were trying to hammer the tip directly with the pommel against the stone...well, i would bet anything that the tip of that knife could easily destroy that hammer before getting damaged at all. No, really, you should try it and let us know. :thumbup:
