Does anyone know Rotte?

Andy - actually - I had an idea. Do you mind if I send the package to you? I am going away for a month - and this way you can package up a hat and send it off. If he gets back before I return - you can send it off.

It is 6 or 1/2 dozen to me. I don't mind holding on to the package - but I could not mail it until early August.

My part is sent. I love this place, Knife people are cool. I probably meet over 100 people at Blade and not one of them was a douchebag. Pretty good odds, most of the time if you meet 2 people 1 of them is a douchebag.

I like the idea of donating any extra to a vets group too.

Okay - Andy - I included a few things of my own for the Rotte send off - and I need your address.

1) A 2 MB Thumbdrive / bracelet to add to his bugout bag. It is a bracelet design from my school that could be used for important documents.

2) I included one of my carved firesteels:

Guys, I'm blown away by your generosity. I had a great tour in Afghanistan and am really glad to be back home. You guys really didn't need to do this, but I appreciate the support. This is an amazing place.

By the way, I scored a Fiddleback T-Shirt and took it to A-stan with me. Just close enough to the authorized color that I could wear it with the uniform. Always made me smile to be flyin' the Fiddleback colors in Afghanistan.
